Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami after she reached 2 years old. Presently, she is the host of the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is which is a Spanish language television program that was nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was also named as the most popular Spanish-language show on 4pm for key demonstrations. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation from Florida International University's political science program, she moved to Havana where she stayed for 20 years. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years.
